Diversity Research Showcase
Event Information
- When: Friday, January 22, 2027 from 1:30 p.m.-4:45 p.m.
- Where: Campbell Hall and online
The 10th Annual Diversity Research Showcase is hosted by the Honors College and open to all students. It features MSU undergraduate student work or work in progress on issues of diversity that advance inclusion.
I told myself, ‘Kailyn, just do it’. I thought to myself it would be a great way to showcase something that I’m passionate about.
The Diversity Research Showcase provides undergraduates students space to discuss their diversity research with peers, faculty, and staff in a supportive and constructive atmosphere. Topics span cultural, racial, ethnic, functional, gender, international, LGBTQIA2S+, environmental, and political diversity.
Benefits
The Diversity Research Showcase provides MSU undergraduate students with valuable opportunities:
- Monetary awards
- Research presentation experience
- Networking
We invite anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of how diversity affects every area of study to attend.
It was wonderful to see so many from the campus community join us to support the outstanding work these students are doing locally and globally in their efforts to advance equity and justice.
Resources
- Register to attend the virtual Preparing a Proposal for the Diversity Research Showcase workshop on November 20 at 3:00 p.m.
- linktr.ee/MSUDRS: 2026 program book, poster presentation recordings, photos, etc.

I think Dr. King would be proud to see the breadth and strength of the work students are doing to advance inclusivity and address challenging issues.
