At MOSAIC, we work to foster multiculturalism within MSU and the broader Lansing community through campus programming and our service partnership with the Refugee Development Center (RDC). Our group aims to provide a social network for the diverse student body, promote appreciation of different cultures and cultural competency, and organize service opportunities to support the newcomer and refugee community at the RDC.


Monthly Events


Our monthly events for members include volunteering at the RDC and social events including, but not limited to: multicultural-themed movie nights, group discussions about issues facing diverse populations, guest speakers, and trivia competitions. MOSAIC’s biggest event of the year is the Multicultural Dinner, where we provide food from various cultures and engage in activities that promote inclusivity on campus.
