NEW: Global Sustainable Finance: Honors Research Seminar Abroad in Japan

  • $800 scholarship towards program costs once enrolled (first 20 students)
  • Enroll for UGS200H, Section 750 by August 25
    • Fall Semester (at MSU): Aug. 31-Dec. 13, 2026
    • Winter Break (in Japan): Jan. 5-18, 2027
    • Spring Semester (at MSU): Jan. 16-May 2, 2027

Funding

Funding will only support international research and semester-length programs. To apply, fill out the Honors College application form in the MSU Scholarships system and upload a letter of support from a faculty member. You must be a current Honors College student in good standing to apply.

John A. and Irma L. Benschop International Enrichment Award: Apply by the October 15 deadline for winter and spring programs.

Jeffrey and Kathryn Cole International Study Award: Apply by the March 1 deadline for summer, fall, and academic year programs.
