Elisa Garcia joined the Honors College staff in fall 2022 and serves as the Admissions Associate and Graduate Assistant. Elisa is happy to be at Michigan State as a graduate student in the Student Affairs Administration (SAA) program and working with the Honors College.
Elisa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and graduated from UC Merced in 2020 with a bachelors in Political Science. As a first-generation college student, Elisa really focused on finding her support system whether that be in a living learning community or involving herself in club organizations that had the same cultural background and struggles. It really made her college experience fulfilling and led her to many opportunities like working for orientation, studying abroad, and enhancing student development within student affairs programs.
