A Long Line of Women, Teresa Dunn
Teresa Dunn is a professor of painting and drawing in the MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design. Her four-panel artwork “A Long Line of Women” is permanently displayed in the Schupbach Van Wagenen South Fireside Lounge at Campbell Hall.
“This painting celebrates the long line of women in life whether or not the connections are genetic, family, friendship, mentorship, and shared or parallel experiences,” Dunn said. “Our connections in the past, present, and future are invaluable as we support each other’s journeys.”
The mural contains numerous hidden details, such as the LLW 2022 license plate representing the name of the painting and the year it was made. Two of Dunn’s former students are also featured in the piece.
