First-Generation Student Resources
The designation “first-generation students” refers to those who are the first in their immediate family to pursue the completion of a college degree. First-generation students are encouraged to use the following resources:
- First-Generation Honors Association (FGHA), a student organization dedicated to assisting students in their transition to the Honors College/Academic Scholars Program and fosters their continued success in college.
- Honors Navigators Peer Mentorship Program, which connects first-year students with a peer mentor in the Honors College.
