The Michigan State University Honors College Youth Scholars Program for high achieving low income and first generation students will welcome its first class in 2017. The program is designed to provide financial assistance and professional development to support outstanding students to attend MSU’s academic and research summer precollege programs. Youth Scholars may choose which program to attend and will have the opportunity through a leadership retreat to meet other 2017 Youth Scholars. Youth Scholars are high school students who demonstrate academic merit through exceptional performance in high school. Applicants should submit a complete Youth Scholarship Application as soon as possible and not later than June 15, 2017. The Youth Scholars Program is limited and scholarships are granted on a rolling basis.
