The Alumni Distinguished Scholarship competition is a great opportunity for high achieving students and their families to learn more about Michigan State University. Parents and guardians are welcomed to attend most events of the Alumni Distinguished Scholarship competition!

Create an account to log in to the Virtual Fair to take advantage of many live events throughout the week of January 28 – February 6. 

Attend myriad live sessions including the academic sessions and resource fair in the Virtual Fair, designed to give students and families more in-depth information about Michigan State University. Only the “Student Connections” pavilion is reserved for student participants of the competition as a way to connect them with each other and with other MSU students.

Attend our live information session with Q&A exclusively for parents on either Saturday, January 30 or February 6. From 2 p.m. -3 p.m., the Office of Admissions will host this special opportunity for parents/guardians; in addition to scholarship information, parents/guardians will be able to ask questions of representatives from the Honors College, Housing, and Financial Aid, and a student panel. The February 6 session will be recorded and made available after the event to anyone who registers. Please register for a parent panel session here:
