APP Review
After you submit your APP, it is reviewed by the Honors College staff. That review will have one of the outcomes listed below.
Approved: All program proposals are acceptable and all proposals for nonstandard components have been validated. Be sure that you keep hard copies of all your approved APPs for future reference.
Not Approved: Your proposed program is not consistent with continued membership in the Honors College (or with graduation as an Honors College member). If you wish to retain your membership, you will need to meet with an Honors College staff adviser and your departmental Honors adviser to prepare a new program plan.
You will receive e-mail notification of action on your submitted APP form. Once you receive that notification you should log into the APP system to review the form's status and any departmental adviser or Honors College comments.
Changes to an APP
As your interests or plans change, you may have to alter your APP. If so, consult with your Honors advisers, both in your major and from the Honors College staff, about the necessary changes, obtain approval before implementing the changes, and make sure that a new APP is submitted reflecting your new enrollment.
Your Graduation Year APP
The course selections which you project for your final year must be carefully checked and rechecked. Be sure to review with your departmental Honors adviser all graduation requirements in your major. Check with an Honors College staff adviser to confirm the number of Honors courses you still need and the status of your general education selections. You and you alone are responsible for assuring that you have enough credits to graduate.
